Exomad Green and Carbonfuture have expanded their strategic supply partnership, securing more than 1.1 million tons of biochar carbon removal (BCR) supply to be made available to corporate buyers through 2035.
The agreement includes a pre-existing supply allocation for 2026 and complements more than 1.2 million tons already contracted under existing multi-year agreements. The deal links Exomad Green‘s industrial production footprint in Bolivia with Carbonfuture‘s digital tracking infrastructure and commercial buyer network.
Since launching their collaboration in 2023, Exomad Green has delivered over 400,000 tons of durable carbon removal, establishing itself as the global market leader by cumulative delivered volume, according to CDR.fyi market data through August 2026.
The supplier currently operates biochar facilities in Concepción and Riberalta and is developing a large-scale project in Guarayos as it works toward building one megaton of annual carbon removal capacity.
Industrial Execution and Local Agricultural Impact
The partnership expansion reflects a broader shift across voluntary carbon markets, where corporate buyers are increasingly prioritizing suppliers with proven operating histories, auditable traceability, and verified delivery records.
“2026 is the year carbon removal is being judged on execution,” said Diego Justiniano, CEO of Exomad Green. “Buyers need more than ambitious capacity plans; they need confidence that tons can be produced, independently verified, issued, and delivered on schedule.”

Exomad Green’s operational model utilizes sustainably sourced sawmill waste that would otherwise be incinerated or left to decay.
The resulting biochar is provided at no cost to local Bolivian farmers as a soil amendment, helping improve agricultural yields, reduce wildfire risks, and curb local air pollution.
“Exomad Green has consistently demonstrated that durable carbon removal can be executed at industrial scale,” added Dr. Hannes Junginger-Gestrich, CEO and Co-Founder of Carbonfuture. “Our role has been to provide trusted digital infrastructure and commercial pathways around a supplier that continues to execute.”
