remove, the accelerator program focused exclusively on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) startups, has just announced it is accepting applications for its new cohort. 

The program features two stages and takes place over the course of 9 months, during which it offers companies in their early phases of development €50,000 (~$54,350) non-dilutive funding, coaching and support, as well as access to a network of over 350 community members n the European CDR ecosystem.

Stage 1 of the remove accelerator program lasts 10 weeks and covers carbon markets and CDR policy, as well as  Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) issues, the buyer’s perspective and deals with individual challenges in coaching sessions. This stage also includes a €5,000 (~$5,435) grant.

Stage 2, on the other hand, takes companies for a deeper dive into the CDR space and what it takes to build a successful business within it, lasting 6 months and offering a recoverable grant of €45,000 (~$49,000).

Applications can be submitted latest by March 1, 2024.
