In a strategic partnership announced last week, Mangrove Systems has agreed to provide its sophisticated digital measurement, reporting, and verification (dMRV) platform to a network of carbon removal operations established in the U.S. Midwest by engineered carbon removal company Super6 Carbon.
Under the partnership, Mangrove will provide its end-to-end, audit-ready MRV services for biogenic CO₂ from capture through transport and permanent geological storage in Class VI wells.
As a company specialized in engineered CDR, Super6 Carbon develops biogenic CO2 removal projects that deliver high-quality, affordable carbon credits at scale in the near term.
In November 2025, the CDR company teamed up with agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), joining forces in a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
As part of this MOU, Super6 Carbon is to supply captured CO2 to ADM’s established carbon capture and storage (CCS) operations in Decatur, Illinois, with the purpose of issuing high-quality carbon credits via permanent underground storage.
With this MOU in place, the two companies are now developing the first CO2 transload hub in Decatur, located near one of the few fully permitted and operational Class VI wells in North America.
Mangrove’s digital MRV platform will provide an auditable record system for these CDR operations, combining advanced data integration, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and reporting capacities to provide rigorous transparency for carbon credit buyers.
With Mangrove’s comprehensive dMRV tool, Super6 will be able to aggregate data across the full value chain, enabling continuous visibility into project performance and carbon results.

Utilizing automated data ingestion, streamlined CO2 accounting, and AI-pre-checked reports for carbon registries, this in-depth dMRV system will also help Super6 unlock faster verification and more reliable monthly issuances of carbon removal credits for its U.S. Midwest CDR operations.
Super6 Carbon President Robert Alloway explained, “Super6 delivers reliable, large‑scale carbon removal, and Mangrove provides best‑in‑class digital MRV. Together, we’re giving buyers the transparency and confidence to lean into high‑integrity CDR at scale.”
On behalf of Mangrove Systems, CEO Brandon Vlaar added, “We are proud to partner with Super6 on their scalable biogenic CCS project. By deploying Mangrove’s dMRV platform across Super6’s operations, we deliver a single, audit-ready system of record enabling industrial carbon removal at scale.”
