Verde AgriTech and UNDO Carbon have signed a commercial enhanced rock weathering (ERW) partnership, agreeing to collaborate on the creation, delivery, and sale of durable, high-quality carbon removal credits.
Under the partnership, the two companies will combine Verde’s Brazil-based ERW activities with UNDO’s ERW measurement and technology expertise to bring to market durable carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits that will help turn Verde’s operations into a scalable revenue stream.
Back in 2023, Verde announced intentions to start selling carbon removal credits from its sustainable agriculture activities that include ERW powered by a glauconitic siltstone mineral.
Through these operations, the company delivers CDR results while also introducing soil health and ecosystem benefits that reflect positively on the quality of life of the people residing in its area of activity. The partnership with UNDO will enable Verde’s debut on the carbon credit market.
UNDO, on the other hand, is embarking on this partnership to secure a reliable source of high-quality ERW feedstock and a pathway to scalable CDR from Verde’s ERW activities.
Named as one of the winners of the $100 million XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition, UK-based UNDO specializes in ERW catalyzed through the spreading of crushed silicate rock on agricultural land.
The company is set to permanently remove approximately 69,000 tonnes of CO2 across three continents through its ERW operations that span across 54,400 acres of agricultural land and a total of 398 farms.
As part of the agreement, Verde will grant UNDO up to 1.7 million common share purchase warrants, allocated as 100,000 initial warrants, 1,000,000 additional warrants, and 600,000 incremental success-based warrants.

Through this cooperation, Verde and UNDO hope to unlock a CDR scaling blueprint that would help remove hundreds of thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions from the atmosphere.
Verde AgriTech Founder and CEO Cristiano Veloso stated,
“By combining our glauconitic siltstone products and established operations in Brazil with UNDO’s award‑winning expertise in measurement, reporting, and verification, we aim to originate and deliver durable, high‑quality carbon removal credits aligned with global best practices, including leading enhanced rock weathering methodologies.”
