Twelve Raises Additional $83M In Series C And Project Funding - Carbon Herald

Building on the momentum of the company’s $645 million funding announcement last fall, Twelve reveals that they’ve secured an additional $83 million in strategic investments for Series C and project funding to support the development of the AirPlant™ One facility.

This latest milestone highlights the strong commitment from both existing and new investors, including SMBC, TPG, Pulse Fund, Amazon (via The Climate Pledge Fund), Mitsui & Co., Ltd., the Development Bank of Japan, Japan Hydrogen Fund (managed by Advantage Partners), and others.

These partners believe in the potential of Twelve’s carbon transformation technology to tackle some of the world’s most urgent challenges.

This latest investment round saw current investor, DCVC, increase their Series C participation, while Fundamental Advisors expanded their construction loan to support the AirPlant One project.

By diversifying their capital sources with global investors, strategic players, and industry-specific partners from sectors like aviation, shipping, and transportation, Twelve says they are not only building a sustainable future but laying the groundwork for long-term growth.
