Following a successful collaboration initiated back in 2024, carbon removal marketplace Supercritical and leading biochar producer Exomad Green have extended their partnership into a multi-year, 130,000-tonne deal.
Under the agreement, Supercritical will be the exclusive distribution partner for the spot market carbon credits produced by Exomad Green during 2025, obtaining their remaining inventory.
Additionally, Supercritical is introducing a product that will enable access to multi-year Exomad Green offtakes at accessible prices.
As demand for carbon removal increases while supply tightens and Exomad Green focuses on scaling, this agreement positions the Supercritical marketplace as a key gateway for securing long-term, affordable biochar credits.
The approaching 2030 climate targets deadline is projected to direct more and more companies towards structured, long-term carbon dioxide removal (CDR) investments. Being the global dominant supplier of biochar CDR, Exomad Green is in need of rapid scaling to be able to meet this growing demand.
By partnering on this long-term deal with Supercritical, the company will bypass market procurement inefficiencies that could hinder rapid growth plans, such as elaborate due diligence for every ad hoc transaction, lengthy procurement timelines that extend beyond credit availability, and legal and contractual complexities that delay transactions and increase expenses.
In this shared effort, the Supercritical platform will provide its users with transparency on pricing and availability on Exomad Green credits, powered by an accelerated due diligence process and a biochar vetting protocol that follows the highest registry and corporate standards.

To streamline the legal and contractual intricacies, the Supercritical marketplace has also established pre-approved terms, which enable transparent pricing and delivery protections, minimizing the hassle around the procurement process.
Supercritical CEO Michelle You stated, “CDR procurement is evolving. Companies locking in high-quality biochar today will avoid future price spikes and supply shortages.”
She goes on to add, “This partnership ensures buyers of all sizes can access the best supply at accessible prices—without extensive RFP cycles, long due diligence processes, or complex negotiations.”
