SLB, a US-based technology company, has introduced a new suite of carbon storage offerings under the name Sequestri, aimed at advancing large-scale industrial decarbonization.
The comprehensive set of tools and services is designed to make carbon storage projects safer, more efficient, and economically viable.
Sequestri covers the entire carbon storage lifecycle — from selecting and evaluating potential storage sites to development, operation, and long-term monitoring.
The portfolio includes customized hardware and digital systems that help optimize decision-making across each stage of a project.
Paired with SLB’s Capturi modular carbon capture systems, the new offering creates a full end-to-end solution for carbon capture and storage (CCS), giving industrial emitters and developers the tools needed to capture emissions and store them permanently underground.
At the heart of the Sequestri platform is a suite of digital technologies supported by SLB’s 25+ years of CCS project experience. These tools enable users to screen, model, simulate, and manage every step of a carbon storage project with greater confidence and precision.

The portfolio also includes a range of physical technologies engineered specifically for carbon storage — such as subsurface safety valves, measurement systems, and SLB’s EverCRETE, a CO2 resistant cement designed for long-term sealing integrity.
This launch follows closely on the heels of Electris, SLB’s newly released suite of electric well completions technologies aimed at improving well productivity while reducing operational costs.
