SLB and Linde announced they have entered into a strategic collaboration on carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) projects to speed up decarbonization solutions in the industrial and energy sectors.

The partnership will focus on the production of hydrogen and ammonia, with carbon dioxide as a byproduct, as well as on natural gas processing.

SLB and Linde have been working together on decarbonization strategies for over a year now.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), over six gigatonnes of carbon per year need to be abated using CCUS technology to reach net zero by mid-century.
