Rushnu, a pioneer in carbon capture and green chemical production, has inked agreements with Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) and the City of Livermore to pilot its innovative CarbonCatalyze™ technology.
Rushnu‘s technology stands out by combining carbon capture with the production of valuable green chemicals. It captures CO2 from biogas and transforms it into chemicals used for water treatment, significantly reducing the environmental footprint of both plants.
Some of the key advantages of these partnerships include lower costs for disinfection chemicals, substantial carbon emissions reductions, biogas purification, and others.
As part of the agreement, SVCW has committed to purchasing the chemicals produced by Rushnu’s plant once it becomes operational.
Rushnu’s CarbonCatalyze™ technology distinguishes itself from other carbon capture solutions by offering a profitable approach without relying on government subsidies.
The technology, recognized by the National Science Foundation SBIR program, employs a unique catalytic process that not only captures CO2 but also generates valuable base chemicals used in various industries.
