A new opportunity is emerging for climate innovators in India, as the remove India Accelerator officially opens applications for its latest cohort. Tailored specifically for startups working on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) solutions, the eight-month program is designed to nurture the next generation of climate-tech entrepreneurs across the subcontinent.
The accelerator, now in its second year, offers a two-stage structure that includes intensive mentorship, access to international CDR experts, and valuable exposure to investors and policymakers. Founders selected for the second phase of the program will receive €15,000 ($17,400) in non-dilutive funding—offered with no equity exchange.
Organizers emphasize community-building, pairing each participant with personalized coaching and integrating them into a growing network of CDR pioneers. Support doesn’t stop when the program ends; alumni will continue to benefit from post-accelerator resources such as fundraising tools, expert connections, and peer support circles.
Applications are now open for entrepreneurs with bold, scalable CDR solutions aiming to tackle India’s climate challenges and will be accepted until August 20, 2025. As the urgency of carbon removal becomes clearer, the program seeks to identify and support founders building technologies the world urgently needs.
