This year’s edition of the Carbon Removal Summit will take place on June 8, 2023, in the Belgian capital Brussels.
Registrations for the in-person event hosted by the Negative Emissions Platform next week are still open and can be completed on the official website of the organizers.
The Carbon Removal Summit represents an excellent opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR), which has been recognized by the IPCC as a necessary complement to measures aimed at reducing emissions.
Some of the matters set to be discussed at the event include negative emissions technologies, the current challenges facing CDR, as well as how policy can influence the advancement of carbon removals.
The speakers and guests at the event include representatives of CDR businesses, policy and academia.
