RC Technologies, a company focused on capturing and removing atmospheric and point-source CO2 emissions, has announced a financial rebates program for companies interested in carbon dioxide removal (CDR).

This financial incentive will provide companies with rebates on verified CDR investments made in partnership with RC Technologies (RCT).

As RCT points out, this offering is aimed at companies active in a wide range of hard-to-abate industries like data infrastructure, aviation, cement, steel, and mining operations, as well as manufacturing, retail, and public institutions.

Under the program, organizations will be eligible for financial rebates via the verified climate solutions provided by RC Technologies.

RCT is a company that tackles atmospheric carbon dioxide through direct air capture (DAC) technology and deploys tech systems that capture CO2 emissions from industrial sources.

The captured CO2 then gets repurposed into products like sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and graphene, offering a two-pronged climate action approach that cleans the air of pollutants and enables the production of valuable materials.

RC Technologies also produces renewable energy, such as green hydrogen, that gets used to power the company’s facilities, or it takes part in the production of SAF.

Companies that choose to opt in for the CDR financial rebates program will also get access to RCT’s renewable energy domain.

Raciel Castillo, founder and CEO of RC Technologies, explained in a statement that the intention of this rebate program is to make carbon removal or reduction more accessible to organizations with ambitious sustainability goals.

He added, “We see this as a way to help lower barriers to adoption and deliver measurable environmental and economic value.”
