Plan A, a software provider that specializes in corporate decarbonization and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) optimization, will further expand internationally and establish a London office in July 2022.

Through its AI-powered and science-backed software platform, the company guides industry leaders towards achieving their ESG goals and offers non-financial reporting in compliance with the latest regulations such as the TCFD Reporting applicable in the UK.

The TCFD Reporting offers standardized and transparent information to investors, lenders, and insurers on ESG performance as well as insights on risk and opportunities related to climate.

Large public interest companies have been obligated to comply with the TCFD standard since 2022. Such companies include banks, insurance companies and public companies with over 500 employees.

“We cannot be happier to be returning to the place where Plan A’s story kicked off,” said  Plan A CEO Lubomila Jordanova. “Our client base in the UK has been growing rapidly in recent months and we pursue ambitious growth targets in the UK.” The company will immediately start recruiting for C-level and commercial positions, she also said.

Plan A will support leading financial institutions on their sustainability journey, focusing on Scope 3 emissions (supplier emissions, investment portfolios).

In order to amplify its rich customer base even further, Plan A will expand not only in London, but also across the United Kingdom. The company will employ over a hundred experts in business, tech and climate science in London in the upcoming years.

“Plan A’s software solution, which supports businesses on their net-zero and decarbonisation journey, will be a great addition to the UK’s world-leading sustainable tech and startup ecosystem,” said UK Minister for Investment Lord Grimstone.
