Patch has announced a new strategic partnership with Cloverly aimed at improving how corporate buyers access, evaluate, and procure carbon credits as the voluntary carbon market continues to mature.
The collaboration comes as carbon buyers face growing complexity. While capital remains available, decision-making is increasingly constrained by fragmented data, inconsistent quality signals, and opaque supply chains.
Patch said the partnership is designed to address those challenges by strengthening the link between enterprise buyers and supplier-side infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Patch will integrate more closely with Cloverly’s systems as Cloverly sharpens its focus on supplier infrastructure, with the goal of creating clearer pathways between carbon credit supply and corporate procurement processes, enabling buyers to move from strategy to execution with greater confidence.
Aligning buyer demand with accountable supply
For corporate sustainability teams working with Patch, the partnership is intended to deliver a more unified procurement experience. Patch said buyers will be able to engage a single strategic partner across the full lifecycle of carbon procurement, from planning and market analysis through to purchasing and execution.
The integration is also expected to expand buyer visibility into real-time credit inventory, availability, and pricing – a persistent challenge in voluntary markets where data is often outdated or siloed.
By centralizing information across buyer and supplier systems, Patch aims to reduce uncertainty and help companies better defend procurement decisions to internal and external stakeholders.

Patch framed the partnership as part of a broader effort to strengthen market foundations by improving access to credits, as well as to the context and diligence required to assess them.
The company said aligning buyer-facing tools with supplier infrastructure built for accountability is increasingly critical as scrutiny around credit quality, transparency, and claims continues to rise.
Cloverly, for its part, has positioned the partnership as complementary to its focus on enabling reliable supply and operational accountability across carbon credit providers.
