U.S.-based climate tech and energy incubator Greentown Labs, in partnership with Shell Catalysts & Technologies (Shell) and Technip Energies, has launched an open-innovation program for startups working on industrial and energy decarbonization solutions.
The Greentown Go Make 2026 program is looking to support startups with a 3-8 readiness level that are developing technologies and innovations in the fields of low-carbon fuels, low-carbon gases, carbon dioxide removal (CDR), and alternative chemical manufacturing.
Startups selected to participate in the program will gain access to an organized and structured platform where they can engage with leadership from both Shell and Technip Energies.
Program participants will also gain access to networking opportunities and partnership-focused programming, as well as marketing visibility for their projects.
Additionally, the selected startups will be able to explore and create potential collaborations with Shell and Technip Energies, including projects such as pilots and demonstrations.
The program is open to startups from around the world, and applications will be accepted until March 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Shell will enrich the program with its extensive expertise built via a track record that includes developing leading-edge zeolites, catalysts, advanced solvents, and pioneering processes.
Global tech and engineering powerhouse Technip Energies, on the other hand, brings its professional know-how on energy infrastructure and decarbonization, utilizing its array of business segments, such as Technology, Products, Services, and Project Delivery, to support innovations towards their scalable and industrial versions.
