The European Climate Summit – ECS 2022 – Europe’s largest climate change initiative is taking place this month. The fourth edition of this event will take place at Casa Llotja de Mar, Barcelona (Spain) on May 24-25 and is complemented by Innovate4Climate (I4C).
I4C is an annual global conference on climate finance, climate investment, and climate markets, organized by the World Bank Group and supported by IETA. It will happen from 24-25 May 2022, designed to be co-located with ECS 2022. It includes plenaries and workshops free and opened to all.

The European Climate Summit 2022 is an annual event, bringing together business leaders from energy, industry, and transport, investors, analysts, lawyers, and project developers, along with legislators and government representatives.

The standard delegate rate for attending the summit is $586 (€550) and free for press and media representatives.
The agenda of the conference will be focused on providing updates on environmental markets development, in particular compliance and voluntary carbon markets. It would provide a comprehensive understanding of current and forecast carbon market drivers and developments.

The summit will aim to dive deeper into ways of implementing Europe’s transition to a net-zero economy, both via market forces and through policy. Key areas of focus are also understanding the pricing evolution, risk profile, and investment opportunities across the compliance and voluntary carbon markets.
