Energy Impact Partners Closes Frontiers Fund At $485 Million - Carbon Herald

Energy Impact Partners (EIP), a global venture capital firm that invests in the net-zero economy, announced on Nov. 15 the closing of the EIP Deep Decarbonization Frontier Fund. The Fund received global investor support and closed at $485 million.

The Fund aims to invest in innovative climate technologies and focuses on companies that have reached early technical validation but have not yet reached full maturity at scale. The Fund has so far invested in 12 companies, including Form Energy, Nitricity , Carbon America, Sublime Systems, Electric Hydrogen, and Rondo Energy.

Since its establishment in 2015, EIP has created a collaborative model that brings together over 50 corporations that are committed to decarbonization. The platform has allowed more than 350 contracts and delivered over $1 billion in bookings and business to more than 100 companies.
