Edmonton, Canada, is gearing up to host Carbon Capture Canada, the nation’s sole event dedicated to carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). The highly anticipated convention is organized by dmg events and co-hosted in collaboration with Edmonton Global and industry co-hosts including Alberta Carbon Grid, Pembina, and TC Energy.

Taking place from September 12 to 14, 2023, at the Edmonton Convention Centre, this event is expected to bring together over 4,000 key industry stakeholders, CCUS leaders, and government officials.

With the increasing global focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, CCUS has become a vital tool in mitigating climate change. This convention will provide a platform for experts and decision-makers to discuss the latest advancements and develop strategies to accelerate the deployment of CCUS technologies.

Carbon Capture Canada will feature a sold-out exhibition that has been expanded to showcase cutting-edge CCUS solutions. With more than 150 speakers who are experts in their field, the accompanying business conference is expected to provide valuable insights and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

The event will host an awards gala where the best and brightest in the CCUS industry will be recognized, with over 19 final nominees contending for the prestigious honors. Other activities that attendees can look forward to include the networking events of Industry Night Reception and Young Women in CCE.

To add even more value to the event, participants will be able to take part in guided visits to various locations near Edmonton. These visits will allow them to explore the facilities where some of the most prominent CCUS projects and companies in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland are based.
