Doctolib has partnered with Plan A, a carbon accounting and decarbonization software provider owned by Diginex (NASDAQ: DGNX), as the European healthcare technology company seeks to turn emissions tracking into a driver of business decision making.
The collaboration will enable Doctolib to transition to quarterly carbon reporting, strengthen its B Corp credentials and develop a forward-looking decarbonization roadmap that integrates emissions reductions with financial impact analysis.
The move comes as investor and regulatory expectations around climate transparency intensify, prompting companies to adopt more rigorous and auditable systems.
Plan A’s platform will enable Doctolib to establish a “reliable and fully auditable” approach to carbon management while supporting investor reporting and preparing for evolving compliance requirements.
It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help organizations track emissions and model reduction strategies, allowing companies to quantify the cost and impact of specific actions.
The software is also designed to help businesses identify so-called return on investment (ROI)-positive climate initiatives and align internal teams around standardized data.
Pierre Delpy, Doctolib’s financial control director, said the partnership provides “a stronger, more reliable, and auditable view of our carbon footprint.”
Improved data clarity allows the company to assess the costs and benefits of emissions-reduction measures and prioritize those with the greatest impact, he added.
