Market expansion services provider DKSH has teamed up with CO2 removal platform Klimate to procure carbon removal credits as part of its net-zero ambitions.

This partnership is part of DKSH’s broader sustainability strategy, which also includes working on increasing energy efficiency, optimizing transport routes, and expanding the use of hybrid and electric vehicles.

On its end, Klimate works with carbon removal developers that deliver tangible results. The platform offers corporate carbon dioxide removal (CDR) buyers help with putting together sustainability plans based on science and powered by technology.

As part of this collaboration with Klimate, DKSH will invest in carbon removal credits from two separate CDR projects.

The first one is the Hummingbird direct air capture (DAC) project under development by Octavia Carbon and its mineral storage partner Cella in the Kenyan Rift Valley.
