Decarb Connect – the organization that brings together decarbonization leaders, is hosting its 2nd Annual Decarb Connect EU event this week. The event called Europe’s Leading Industrial Decarbonisation Summit is taking place 21-23 June at Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City, Amsterdam.
The summit will aim to examine how policy, capital and engineering leadership can come together to drive decarbonization across Europe. Speakers and attendees will be sustainability, energy transition, and decarbonization executives from across the continent, brought together to shed light on the most urgent issues the industry is facing.

They will share first-hand industrial perspectives, case studies, and project updates on green initiatives from within the region. Featured sessions include the buyers’ perspectives on demand-side signals for low carbon materials, disruptor pitches and voting, and European industrial hub showcases.

Professionals from the chemical, steel, cement, glass, oil and gas, and other harder-to-abate sectors will also share the issues they meet with decarbonization in energy-intensive processes. Sessions will be led by representatives from leading companies like Holcim, ArcelorMittal, Titan Cement, BASF, Cemex, NSG Pilkington, and more.

The summit is targeted at anybody who would want to identify what can be done today to achieve energy efficiencies and lower emissions in industrial processes and heat generation, or at those who want to get first-hand experiences from industries.
Attendees will also find out how roadmaps are translating into action and will have the opportunity to discover new technologies and business models for achieving emission reduction. Networking and making connections is also a main priority of the Decarb Connect initiative.
