The DAC Coalition has announced the very first edition of the Global Direct Air Capture Conference, set to take place in New York.

The event will be hosted by Columbia University and is made possible with the help of official partners Breakthrough Energy and RMI

Registrations for the first Global Direct Air Capture Conference, which will be held on October 16-17, 2023, are already open.

The aim of the inaugural event is to speed up the development and deployment of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology as a means of removing large quantities of CO2 and mitigating the climate crisis.

Planned as an annual gathering, the conference is intended to become the leading global forum for representatives of different sectors to share knowledge in the field of carbon removal and bring together world leaders and innovators to advance the development and adoption of DAC technologies.
