This new order is part of an ongoing 12-month delivery agreement for two CapsolGo® demonstrations to this client. They will be performed at an Energy-from-Waste and a biomass-fired Combined Heat and Power plant.

This step moves CO2 Capsol towards becoming a one stop shop for energy efficient and environmentally friendly capture and liquefaction process design”, says Cato Christiansen, CTO of CO2 Capsol.
CapsolGo® allows a cost-saving approach for companies that emit large quantities of carbon dioxide to test and verify how well CO2 Capsol’s Hot Potassium Carbonate tech performs when working directly with clients’ specific flue gas and processes. This is a precursor to deploying the system for full carbon capture at more facilities.
Back in 2022, CO2 Capsol expanded its range of offerings by adding CapsolGo® and CapsolGT®. The growth in the area of service and design for CO2 liquefaction was warranted from the increasing industry demand, especially with more favorable policies coming from the EU about carbon capture, utilization and storage.
The client will receive the test unit in the third quarter of 2023 and is expected to contribute to the cashflow over the 12 months it will be operating.
