The fourth CEEZER Carbon Coalition Accelerator Program is now open for applications, accepting candidates until February 6th, 2026, and scheduled to run from late March to late April, 2026.

Following three successful editions in which the initiative backed durable, engineered carbon dioxide removal (CDR) projects, the fourth CEEZER accelerator is exclusively looking to support nature-based CO2 removal.

The CEEZER Coalition Accelerator program empowers early-stage CDR project developers on the voluntary carbon market.

The initiative offers guidance and advice on the typical bottlenecks faced by project developers, such as monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV), pricing, raising awareness in buyers, and gaining a better understanding of buyer needs.

In its fourth run, the accelerator is on the lookout for CDR suppliers that are currently certifying their project under an ICROA-endorsed registry with a robust project plan.

Specifically, the call is open to more mature project developers working on project certification under the following registries: Verra, Gold Standard, Plan Vivo, Isometric, Equitable Earth, American Carbon Registry, and Climate Action Reserve.

CDR pathway-wise, the nature-based edition of the accelerator is interested in projects working on solutions centered around blue carbon, afforestation, reforestation, and soil carbon.

To qualify, the interested projects need to meet the above-mentioned criteria, as well as have a comprehensive project plan while following high environmental and social standards in their operations.

The program is specifically looking to back projects that will issue carbon removal credits, and, upon completing the accelerator and successfully passing specific quality thresholds, the projects will be able to place the credits for sale on the CEEZER platform.

CEEZER clarifies that once projects graduate from the accelerator program, they will be listed on the platform with a “Coming soon” tag. When the project matures and is ready for a complete CEEZER listing, it will be able to also sell credits on the platform.
