CarbonStorage.io has launched a new global intelligence platform designed to track carbon capture and low-carbon infrastructure projects in real time, as deployment of carbon management technologies accelerates worldwide.

The platform provides project-level data and geospatial mapping across carbon capture and storage (CCS), direct air capture (DAC), hydrogen, bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), e-fuels, and CO2 transport infrastructure.

It aggregates regulatory milestones, infrastructure metadata and project status updates into a centralized, continuously updated dataset.

CarbonStorage.io is intended to support developers, investors, researchers and energy companies navigating an increasingly complex carbon management landscape.

As governments expand policy incentives and companies pursue net-zero commitments, access to reliable, high-resolution infrastructure data has become a growing bottleneck for project development and capital deployment.

Tracking Carbon Infrastructure at Scale

In addition to capture and storage facilities, the platform tracks CO2 pipeline networks, transport corridors and Class VI injection well permitting activity, providing visibility into both project readiness and regulatory progress.

CarbonStorage.io says the platform addresses fragmentation across public and private data sources by standardizing project information and making it accessible through interactive maps and analytics tools.

The platform is now publicly available, offering free access to core project maps and summaries, alongside optional premium datasets and advanced analytics for professional users.
