CarbonCure Technologies has appointed Yuliya Kravtsov as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership transition as the company looks to expand its global footprint in low-carbon concrete solutions.
Kravtsov brings more than two decades of executive experience, including senior roles across the cement and building materials sector. Prior to joining CarbonCure, she held leadership positions at CRH, as well as earlier roles at Lafarge and Holcim.
Her background also includes experience in strategy and finance, reflecting a focus on scaling operations and integrating complex business units.
The appointment comes as CarbonCure continues to expand deployment of its carbon mineralization technology, which enables concrete producers to inject captured CO2 into fresh concrete. The company has already seen adoption across hundreds of plants globally, with millions of concrete deliveries produced using its system.
Leadership Transition and Growth Strategy
The leadership change is positioned as part of a broader push to accelerate growth and strengthen customer engagement. Kravtsov is expected to focus on scaling operations, expanding market reach, and reinforcing the company’s role in reducing emissions from construction materials.
As part of the transition, Kristal Kaye, who has served as interim CEO, will move into the role of President and Chief Financial Officer. The shift is intended to ensure continuity while supporting the company’s next phase of development.

Board leadership highlighted Kravtsov’s experience in managing organizational transformation and driving commercial growth as key factors behind the appointment. Her track record includes overseeing post-merger integration and leading high-growth business segments within the building materials sector.
The move comes at a time when demand for lower-carbon construction materials is increasing, driven by both regulatory pressure and corporate climate targets. Technologies that reduce the carbon intensity of concrete are seen as a critical component of decarbonizing the built environment.
With new leadership in place, CarbonCure is positioning itself to build on its existing market presence and expand adoption of carbon utilization solutions across global construction markets.
