CarbonCapture Inc., a frontrunner in American direct air capture (DAC) technology, known for its mass-producible modular systems, announced today the lease signing for its first manufacturing facility.

This sizable facility, boasting 83,000 square feet of space, is situated in Mesa, Arizona. At peak capacity, the plant is expected to produce 4,000 units annually, translating to a carbon dioxide removal (CDR) capability of 2 million tons.

Following a comprehensive nationwide search, Mesa was selected due to its central positioning, access to clean energy sources, and a readily available skilled workforce.

Pivotal to CarbonCapture‘s decision was the strong backing it received from various organizations, including the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Arizona Commerce Authority, Arizona State University, and Salt River Project.
