Last week, Carbon Unbound announced that it is uniting its East Coast and West Coast summits into one flagship North American event scheduled to take place on March 23–24, 2027 in Vancouver, Canada.
Designed with a sharper agenda, the Carbon Unbound North America 2027 event will bring together over 600 senior leaders and a higher ratio of demand-side to supply-side decision-makers.
While the Carbon Unbound events held for the past few years in New York and San Francisco grew fast and contributed significantly to the development of the carbon removal buyer community on this continent, the organizer is now turning a new chapter, with attendees in mind.
The decision to merge the East Coast and West Coast conferences into one landmark North American summit was made as the two separate regional events meant no single room had the full picture.
To cover all continent-relevant CO2 removal aspects in one single event, Carbon Unbound is now uniting the entire market under one roof, welcoming the North American carbon dioxide removal (CDR) market in Vancouver.
“Splitting the same fast-growing audience base across two separate events, four months apart, meant no single room ever had the full picture; the full set of buyers, developers, financiers, and policymakers who are actually shaping how carbon dioxide removal scales in North America,” the organizer explained.
This decision means no more planning two trips to two separate locations to get the full market perspective.
The Carbon Unbound North America 2027 agenda
To welcome atendees, Carbon Unbound will also host pre-summit workshops on March 22 in Vancouver.
The dates for the flagship Carbon Unbound summit were chosen with a broader agenda in consideration. To select these dates, the organizer mapped out the complete CDR events calendar for the year, making sure the conference won’t compete with other industry events.
