Carbon Removal Canada – the non-profit organization dedicated to advancing policies and innovations for scaling carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in the country, is officially launching and releasing its first report at an event to take place this November.
The organization which was established earlier this year in March is holding its first official launch event in the National Arts Center, Arctic Room, Ottawa, Canada on November 8, 2023 at 4:00 – 6:00 pm EST. It is inviting people willing to attend to register for this free summit.

The event will include networking and engaging discussion with climate enthusiasts, CDR influencers, key policymakers and industry players.

David Keith, founder of Carbon Engineering will host a keynote speech and Na’im Merchant, Carbon Removal Canada’s executive director will explore the environmental, economic and community-level impact of responsibly scaling diverse carbon removal technologies in Canada along with panelists:

- Mike Kelland, CEO, Planetary Technologies
- Grégoire Baillargeon, President, BMO Financial Group, Quebec and Vice Chair, BMO Capital Markets
