Carbon Circle Secures Multi-Million-Pound Investment From Amplus Energy Services Ltd

The Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and EPC specialist Carbon Circle AS has secured a multi-million-pound equity investment from Amplus Energy Services Ltd. in the UK. The proceeds from the capital raise will be allocated to support the establishment and operation of Carbon Circle UK Limited, a new carbon capture business based in Aberdeen.  

Carbon Circle is already established in the Norwegian carbon capture sectors and the new entity Carbon Circle UK is poised to drive the emerging carbon capture market in the UK with the aim to become a major energy transition employer in Aberdeen.

Amplus Energy has established itself as a provider of global field development services and possess deep domain knowledge and wide-ranging contacts within the UK energy industry that will add significant support to the growth of Carbon Circle UK. The company’s services cover all aspects from  project launch to completion, including investment and financial solutions.

Carbon Circle is a provider of energy transition solutions covering all facets of EPC projects and is already working on front end engineering and design (FEED) studies for the de-carbonisation of two major industrial sites in the UK. Established in 2022, Carbon Circle is wholly owned by Green Transition Holding (GTH), a developer, owner, and operator of clean energy infrastructure. Carbon Circle has secured significant orders in both Norway and Canada and is currently in the process of raising additional growth capital to further expand its operations and fund working capital requirements.
