German company Carbo-FORCE has entered into a strategic partnership with S.C. Pure Carbon Solution S.R.L., embarking on a collaboration that will bring biochar and next-gen pyrolysis technology in Romania.
As shared in the announcement, the two companies have already signed an agreement for their first joint plant.
Under the partnership, Carbo-FORCE has already shipped the first CF-250 systems that will serve to process biomass material with a pyrolysis approach that requires no external energy during operation.
“We are proud to announce a strategic partnership with S.C. Pure Carbon Solution S.R.L. from Oradea, Romania. Together, we’re opening up the Romanian and neighboring markets for next-generation pyrolysis and biochar technology — and we’re not wasting any time,” said the German company in a recent publication.
According to Carbo-FORCE, the partnering companies are looking to bring operations to Romania “as fast as they can make it happen.”

Marketed as the official Carbo-FORCE partner in Romania, Pure Carbon Solution brings expertise in biomass technical analysis, modular design and adaptation, and implementation and operation.
Additionally, the company leverages knowledge on biochar + GHG + RED II certification, and it offers its international partners access to European investment funding.
Together, the two companies will work on modular biochar plants powered by next-generation pyrolysis that converts biomass into biochar, renewable energy, and sequestered carbon.

On its website, Pure Carbon Solution outlines that the pyrolysis units can process 63 different types of biomass, including plant residues such as straws, vines, stems, and husks, as well as forestry residues, dried sludge, dried / digested manure, residues from the food industry, and wood chips.
On behalf of Carbo-FORCE, CEO Kai Alberding shared that his company is also collaborating with U.S. company CO2-Sync, blending technology and expertise with a shared vision of turning biomass into EBC-certified biochar, renewable energy, and carbon removal that lasts.
