Oslo-based carbon capture provider Capsol Technologies has secured five new engineering studies over recent weeks, expanding its industrial footprint with additional contracts across the cement and energy sectors.
The new study wins will generate cash inflows over the next six months equivalent to roughly four months of CapsolGo mobile demonstration campaigns, delivering a direct liquidity boost to the company’s near-term operations.
Among the new contracts is an engineering study for a second site owned by a returning CapsolGo demonstration customer. The follow-on project supports Capsol‘s commercial strategy of leveraging modularization and standardized equipment designs to drive down capital costs across multi-site industrial portfolios.
The contract additions further strengthen Capsol’s active project pipeline as the company focuses on scaling its energy-efficient, hot potassium carbonate capture technology across hard-to-abate industrial sectors.
Driving Cost Reductions Through Modular Standardization
By securing multi-site engagements with established industrial operators, Capsol aims to shorten engineering lead times and lower deployment costs for large-scale carbon capture installations.
“We are very pleased to see the increased commercial activity into new customer engagements and, importantly, near-term cash generation,” said Wendy Lam, CEO of Capsol Technologies. “The five studies will provide a meaningful contribution to Capsol’s liquidity over the coming six months.”

The cement sector remains a primary growth vector for the firm, driven by rising demand for low-carbon building materials and tightening regulatory pressure on process emissions.
“We are also pleased that a previous CapsolGo customer is now engaging us for another site within its portfolio,” Lam added.
“This reflects our shared view that modularization and standardization across multiple projects can drive costs down and is an important validation of our multi-site approach.”
