BlueLayer has entered a strategic partnership with Abatable, a carbon procurement and intelligence provider, in an effort to make it easier for project developers to share information with buyers and investors and to strengthen transparency across voluntary carbon markets.
Abatable, which advises companies on building portfolios of high-quality carbon projects, relies on steady access to credible project data to support corporate climate strategies.
The new integration will allow developers using BlueLayer’s operating system to participate more efficiently in Abatable-run requests for proposals and procurement programs based on standardized project information already stored on the platform.

Developers often face hurdles in institutional procurement processes, where each tender can require bespoke documentation, manual data transfers, and repeated responses to similar questions.
Under the new setup, developers will be able to share selected data, such as request for proposal (RFP) responses, credit inventory, pricing details, and delivery timelines, directly with Abatable while retaining full control over what is disclosed.
Abatable’s templated tender workflows will also pull automatically from information hosted on BlueLayer, reducing duplicate effort and improving the completeness of submissions.
Corporate buyers stand to benefit as well, BlueLayer said in a company update on Tuesday.
Abatable’s clients require dependable, comparable project data when shaping climate portfolios, and the partnership is expected to broaden the pool of suppliers and improve data quality across nature-based and engineered removal projects.
According to BlueLayer, the collaboration marks progress toward a more efficient and trustworthy carbon market.
The integration should help buyers meet emissions commitments with greater confidence, while giving developers more time to focus on delivering high-integrity projects rather than repeatedly re-entering information for separate procurement exercises.
