Aker Carbon Capture and CO280 Solutions have recently come together to collaborate on creating innovative projects in the pulp and paper sector in the United States and Canada.

The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), outlining their commitment to work together on carbon dioxide removal initiatives within the industry.

As companies seek to reduce their carbon footprint, the demand for innovative CO2 capture solutions continues to grow. This collaboration between Aker Carbon Capture and CO280 will aim to provide cost-effective and reliable solutions on a large scale.

By combining their expertise and resources, the partners will work to develop a standard solution for carbon removal with a focus on capturing and compressing post-combustion CO2 emissions from a variety of sources. These sources include recovery boilers, power boilers, and lime kilns, as well as other industrial emissions commonly found in the pulp and paper sector.

The two companies will collaborate as preferred partners on individual projects, leveraging the innovative technology of Aker Carbon Capture‘s Just Catch series. This standardized product allows for the pre-assembly of carbon capture units, making installation and implementation quick and efficient.
