AirCarbon Exchange (ACX), the first carbon-negative exchange in the world, has partnered with carbon project developer C-Quest Capital (CQC) for the first-of-its-kind auction of CO2 credits generated from LED light bulb projects.

The auction will take place on Nov. 1 and 2, 2022 and will see 300,000 CO2 credits available for purchase.  The credits will be generated from CQC’s Efficient Lighting projects in India, which has replaced 14.5 million inefficient bulbs with efficient and durable LED bulbs in about 3 million households. The projects mostly target poor rural communities in India, and support the local people by providing them with cheaper electricity and better working and studying conditions at home.
