Air Products (NYSE:APD) has joined forces with Qudra Energy to develop cutting edge energy technology that will be revealed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Air Products is a global leader in providing essential industrial gasses and related equipment.
And Qudra Energy is a subsidiary of Vision Invest, a development and investment holding company based in Saudi Arabia.
The two sides have been working together to create sustainable energy-related solutions that will help advance Saudi Arabia’s strategic framework to transition to cleaner energy sources and minimize its dependency on fossil fuels.
The framework is known as the ‘2030 Vision’, and will involve the development and deployment of various innovative solutions, such as the ones to be revealed by Air Products.
Air Products is to present its latest technology at the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between 21st -23rd February 2022,
Although the technology largely involves carbon capture, it is said to also include Air Product’s invaluable expertise as the world’s top hydrogen supplier.
Ebubekir Koyuncu, CEO of the Air Products Qudra joint venture, commented on the event and pointed out that the Air Products Qudra’s goal is to advance Saudi Arabia’s energy transition by bringing top-of-the-line technology, world-class project execution and skillful leadership for the large-scale projects in the region.
