- By working with channel partners, DAC company 1PointFive has agreed to sell over 15,000 tonnes of carbon removal credits to date
- These sale channels bring high-quality carbon removal solutions closer to small- and mid-sized buyers
- 1PointFive’s network of channel partners includes CUR8, Supercritical, and Patch
To date, 1PointFive has agreed to sell over 15,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits via channel panthers, the direct air capture (DAC) company shares in a new publication.
Through its partnerships with CUR8, Supercritical and, most recently, Patch, the company has successfully brought its DAC credits to the portfolios of smaller scale purchasers through a streamlined process that makes it easier for companies of any size to access CDR credits.
Such channel partners, as 1PointFive highlights, enable small-to-medium-sized organizations to reach high-integrity carbon removal solutions.
“Much like retailers connect manufacturers with a broader range of buyers, channel partners connect organizations with carbon removal solutions from developers such as 1PointFive,” the company stated.
Through their integrated marketplaces, channel partners offer CDR access to any part of the buyer organization, from sustainability to procurement, through an optimized process that replaces the conventional direct reach out to suppliers.
Channel partners have enabled significant DAC sales for 1PointFive
By working with channel partners, 1PointFive has agreed to sell more than 15,000 tonnes of DAC credits to date. The credits are distributed across large events such as sporting occasions, as well as year-end additions that support annual targets under high-impact portfolios.
“The ability to right-size volumes for customers with smaller or more bespoke needs means we can put more tonnes to work in a broader set of decarbonization strategies,” 1PointFive says.

On behalf of CUR8, CEO and Co-Founder Marta Krupinska stated, “We help our customers align their carbon removal strategy and purchasing with their broader business objectives, and for most, that means building a balanced portfolio that includes high-quality, long-duration removal like Direct Air Capture.”
“We’re proud to partner with 1PointFive to give our customers a credible pathway to bring DAC into that mix,” she added.
To be able to scale CDR, the industry will need projects capable of delivering at a climate-relevant scale and solutions offered through company-relevant buying options.
According to 1PointFive, channel partnerships help connect those two needs. When high-integrity CDR becomes easier to access, more organizations can be part of the solution.
